Acapulco has been receiving some disturbing press lately, so I thought I would try to lighten things up by sharing a slideshow featuring a few of the photos that I’ve taken over the years in this lively resort city.

Despite the recent drug-cartel violence, Acapulco is still a rewarding destination that more than lives up to its reputation as a romantic getaway and an all-night party town. Acalpulco also has a long and rich history, and visitors can spice up their margaritas with a generous splash of Mexican culture if they so choose.
