    Hi Ron! Vivir en zozobra means more or less to live in a constant fear of something happening, walking on eggshells, a “disquiet” of the soul. I hope it makes sense….

    The annual festival of the Zozobra in Santa Fe New Mexico is a ritual of sending all your yearly problems and sorrows into the Zozobra, usually a 20-30 ft puppet designed to look monster-like. Then everyone yells “burn it” and the icon is engulfed with fire, and supposedly all your problems go up in the smoke. Afterwards there is a great party of renewal and celebration of life.
