I thought I had heard all of the arguments on both sides of the illegal immigration issue, but comedian Mark Kirk, a Republican Congressman from Illinois, has ventured forth with a new proposal, approved by the House, to stem immigration by allowing the U.S. to, get this, give Mexico condoms. Who’s writing this guy’s material, Dennis Miller?

What will be next…maybe pay them to have vasectomies? Declare that only females are keepers? How do these geniuses get in office anway? Oh, that’s right, we elect them, the few that bother to vote. As long as our legislators keep problem-solving with half-baked solutions like this, we will have much more serious problems than who’s crossing the border. For the full Reuters story click here:
