And we’re not talking refried beans. Seems like Americans are flocking across nearby borders to fill ‘er up at PEMEX stations for cheap. Dirt cheap. A gallon of regular unleaded is $2.54 a gallon. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? It’s $4.19 a gallon here in Arizona. Quality’s about the same. The border’s a little far for me, but people in Nogales, San Diego, El Paso and elsewhere have every reason to take a little trip south—even if they have to wait an hour or two to get back to the States. In my opinion, it’s worth every penny, no Pepto Bismol needed. Unless you hit the taco stand on your way out.
