The greening of Mexico—or at least a good attempt thereof—continues with the announcement that it will soon allow “only energy-smart homes to be built in the country, and plans to have 30,000 such units up and running by 2011, Environment Secretary Juan Rafael Elvira”.

Sounds like a step in the right direction. Now if only the taxistas could be convinced to stop throwing trash out their windows…
