For once, we think that the United States has it right and Mexico has it wrong. We in gringo-nation will jump our clocks one hour ahead tomorrow, Sunday March 9, resulting in an extra hour of glorious sun in the evening. But Mexico doesn’t change to Daylight Saving Time for another month, April 6. This will cause some missed appointments, late meetings and pissed-off people along the border towns until everyone catches on. Well, most everyone will catch on.
Of course, Arizona and Sonora don’t do DST at all…never. It must have something to do with the 500 degree heat they live with. Who needs another hour of that every day?
