A while back I told you about a guy, Matt Plavnick, who lives in and writes about Oaxaca. He just sent me this piece ,where he provides some very insightful comments on Ceci Connolly’s article in the Washington Post, “Oaxaca, One Year Later.” Although Plavnick agrees with much of her on-assignment article, he takes great exception to how Connolly characterizes last year’s civil unrest and the terms she uses to describe it.
