With the waters continuing to rise, it is now being estimated that nearly one-million people have been displaced in the state of Tabasco, with more rain predicted. Seventy-percent of the state is under water, including 850 towns. This is an extraordinary disaster, by every measure.
Mexico Premiere urges all of our readers to donate relief money through the American Red Cross at this time. Spanish speaking donors can wire funds to the Mexican Red Cross.

Catholic Relief services has pledged an initial commitment of $1.5 million toward emergency relief and recovery assistance for those affected in Mexico, Dominican Republic, Haiti and Cuba.
