The Zapotec community of Teotitlán del Valle is world-famous for production of colorful weavings (laadi in the local Zapotec language). And in July the town hosts its annual festival complete with church visits, feather dances, lots of tamales and a parade of women (desfile de mujeres). Simply amazing.
