Mexico City’s daily English language newspaper The News resumed publication in late 2007. The online website debuted July 15, 2008. This is welcome news to those who want to know what’s new in Mexico.

According to the News’ website’s about us section: “The editorial philosophy is to provide a balanced, independent view of Mexico and give voice to the voiceless. We are the focus for the community of foreigners living in Mexico, as well as for our loyal Mexican readership.”

For those not in Mexico City or the handful of Mexican cities that receive the dead tree version, consulting the online version is a must which provides insightful coverage of Mexico in English from a staff that is knowledgeable and willing to cover topics in depth.
